CAE provides the opportunity to invest in a Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) that is administered by Desjardins.
Your contributions to the Group RRSP are made by payroll deduction before tax is calculated, which gives you the advantage of lowering your taxable income (you pay less tax!).
Another advantage of the CAE Group RRSP is that the management fees are lower, since a group of employees has more purchasing power than an individual.
- Participation is optional and you are eligible to enroll at your date of hiring.
- You can enroll at any time on the Desjardins website, just click on Register.
- You will need your group number (G005406) and your Desjardins employee number (your CAE employee number + the last 3 digits of your Social Insurance Number (SIN)).
- You select from a variety of investment options during your online enrollment.
- If you have excess CAEselect Dollars you can choose to transfer the excess to your Group RRSP, as long as you completed the enrollment with Desjardins.
- The employer doesn’t contribute to this plan.
